Codford and District gardening club news - J Claypoole.

On Wednesday, 18th June, our first outing of the summer was to The Hospital of St. Cross and the Alms houses of the Noble Poor in Winchester.   

We had a guided tour, by one of the Brothers, of the beautiful gardens and the Church and other fascinating and very interesting ancient buildings.    After the tour we all enjoyed delicious tea and cake.
A visit to the Hospital and it’s gardens is certainly to be recommended.
