Codford local history society talk titled ‘John Piper and the South West’ by David Dawson, Director of the Wiltshire museum. This talk coincides with the John Piper exhibition at the Wiltshire museum.

Wednesday 18th

Codford and District Gardening Club talk titled ‘Seasonal plants with Impact’. The guest speaker will be Martyn Cox, on a return visit to the club. Martyn has worked in gardening since leaving school. He has been features editor on BBC Gardeners World and has written columns for the Mail on Sunday, Amateur Gardening and Grand Designs.

Thursday 19th

Launch of Codford work weaving breakfasts by Lizzie. Do you enjoy penning words - whether for a book, poetically, for work or just for fun? want some encouragement and / or fancy meeting a few fellow wordsmiths once a month? Local writer and poet Lizzie Leigh is going to start hosting these events on the New Moons (which means its not always on a set day of the week!). They will include a croissant or pain au chocolat and unlimited tea/coffee for £10 pp.

The Easter Bunny is coming to Codford! Join us on the first Saturday of the school holidays for a fun afternoon of arts, crafts an Easter egg hunt, face painting and more, with a chocolate egg for each child and an exciting raffle. She was BBC gardener of the year 1999, BBC gardener of the decade 2008, and a Chelsea gold medal winner! Not just any old A-Z of crops, but those which are the easiest, tastiest and most reliable.
