New Book stop coming to Codford from 9th August - Kevin Dorrington

The Codford Book Stop is Here!

We’re thrilled to introduce The Codford Book Stop – a brand new book swap service for the community, lovingly housed in the old bus shelter on the High Street near Broadleaze. Don’t worry, the bus stop is still fully functional, complete with its original outdoor seating!

Whether you're a book lover, a casual reader, or just curious, come along and bring a book, take a book – it’s that simple!

If you have any books that you’d like to donate, please feel free to come along to the book stop from 10am on Saturday 9th August. We have a small group of volunteers who are going to help us stack and order the books ready for the official opening at 1pm on Saturday 9th August.

So many thank yous to our wonderful community who have helped us bring this idea to life, including Matt Hutchings who helped create the book stop, to the Village hall Thursday men’s group who put up all the shelves and decorated, and to Karungi Grant who has provided the lovely signage and art work.

It’s been a wonderful community effort!

If you can’t make it to drop off your books, no problem – just contact Kevin on 07780 578717 to arrange a collection.

Let’s get great stories into new hands and make reading a shared joy in Codford. We’d love to see you there!
