Codford Fireworks Night – What a Sparkling Success! - Kevin Dorrington

What an incredible evening! Codford Fireworks Night returned for its third year and truly lit up the skies – and our hearts. With a fantastic turnout and perfect weather (not a raindrop in sight!), the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as friends and families gathered under a canopy of stars.

The fairground was a feast for the senses, bursting with bright, colourful rides and an array of tempting treats. From classic fish and chips to sizzling pizza, and sweet coffee-and-doughnut delights, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A special shout-out to Wylye Valley Primary School for crafting the amazing Guy that crowned our enormous bonfire – even bigger than last year! The crowd erupted in cheers as the flames roared to life at 6pm, creating a truly magical moment.

Thanks to your incredible support, the event raised over £8,000, which will now be donated back to local community groups – continuing the tradition of giving back where it matters most.

A huge thank you to the Codford Fireworks Committee for their tireless efforts in making this event bigger and better every year. Your hard work is deeply appreciated by Codford and our neighbouring villages. Not only do you give us a spectacular night out, but you also help strengthen our community spirit.
