🚍 Thinking of heading to Devizes or Salisbury by bus? - by Tiggy Thornton.

If you’ve been wishing for easier public transport options, you might be pleasantly surprised by what’s already running through our valley.

Thanks to Tiggy Thornton, there’s a weekly Thursday bus from the Wylye Valley that stops in Codford before continuing on to Devizes. It’s a handy, relaxed way to reach the town without needing the car.
Timetable here: 56 - Warminster - Boynton - Salisbury – Beeline Coaches – Bus Times

And that’s not all. The number 56 bus travels the scenic back road from Warminster to Salisbury three times a week, giving you more flexibility for shopping, appointments, or a day out.

It’s well worth making use of these services — every journey helps keep them running for the whole community.
