The Codford Ladies Circle February meeting - Heather Earley.

The Ladies Circle met at the small hall for their February meeting.  

Rachel Houston, Supporter Care Officer, Alabarè visited to talk about the homeless charity which is based in Salisbury. Rachel satisfied everyone’s curiosity which was ‘how to pronounce Alabarè! It rhymes with ‘Cabaret,! We were given a brief outline of Alabarè’s history and it was followed by a description of their current activities which includes providing housing for many of Salisbury’s homeless, they do a wonderful job.

 Ann Levick was presented with flowers on the occasion of her birthday and there was a list of future events for the year to include a visit to a gin distillery and a cake stall at the fete.

 Our next meeting is 11th March, at the Hillside cafe for breakfast at 9.30.
