Lights, Camera, Community! Woolstore Marks a Milestone in Film Nights with Barbara Tomlinson retiring after 10 years of keeping film night going - Bridget Lorimer
For nearly two decades, film nights at the Woolstore have been a much‑loved fixture in village life. Peter Tomlinson first launched them 19 years ago when he retired, bringing cinema, company and lots of enjoyment to Codford. Ten years later, his wife, Barbara, kindly took up the reel and has been the driving force behind these evenings ever since.
This year, Barbara stepped down after a decade of dedicated service. In true Woolstore style, she was honoured with her very own “Oscar” – a heartfelt thank‑you for her enthusiasm, commitment and for keeping our community film nights shining bright.
