Ladies circle outing to Daisy Swallow’s garden - Jenny Hunt.
On Wednesday 10th June the Ladies circle spent a wonderful afternoon in Daisy Swallow's garden. It rained just as we were about to walk around the garden, but then the sun came out and we enjoyed afternoon tea. (Served by Penny and Katrine)
The garden had lots of interesting borders, but favourite was the roses. They were spectacular, a good year for roses. My favourite was Highgrove, (see photograph) Daisy bought this when she went to see the Kings garden
Our next meeting will be at the village fete, on 28th June, where we will have a cake stall and our usual £1 a ticket raffle. Donations of cakes and savouries will be most welcome.
