Ladies circle trip to the American museum near Bath - Jenny Hunt.

On the 8th of July the Codford Ladies Circle visited the American Museum near Bath. 

It was a sweltering day, but thankfully it was cool within the museum, and we were lucky enough to see the Declaration of Independence which was on loan to the museum. 

Some of the group managed a walk in the gardens before it got too hot, remarking how beautiful they were. 

The museum is well worth a visit, the cafe was very good, catering for teas, coffees and lunch. 

I would love to go back when the weather is cooler, just to see the gardens
