VE day Service of Commemoration on 4th May at St Peter’s church.
This Sunday, 4th May sees us mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe after six long years of war. There will be a commemoration service at St Peter’s church at 11am, which will be followed by drinks and some food, hopefully in the churchyard. The forecast is good all week, so let’s hope it holds for Sunday!
Do invite your friends and neighbours along for the service, or if you cannot attend the service, you are still very welcome to join us from noon onwards for drinks and nibbles.
We look forward to seeing you.
