Wylye Valley Bell ringers christmas meal - Anthony Bainbridge.
If it takes six bellringers to ring a plain course of Bob Doubles, how many more are needed to enjoy the not very plain courses oe Prince Leopold menus. The answer seems to be a minimum of sixteen, including partners. Our noise level and thirsts were quite high enough to demonstrate enjoyment. Other users of the pub dining room tried hard to match us, and we outshone them on every level. This was a very enjoyable event, continuing a longstanding two-year-old tradition.
The Upper Wylye Valley Ringers, although based in Codford, serve all the churches within the Team which have ringable bells in their towers. If you would like to join us please contact Nick Claypoole or Anthony Bainbridge in Codford. Warning: our laughter and chat levels tend to make us noisy when not ringing, so be prepared.
