Codford to commemorate VJ day with bell ringing at both churches on Friday 15th August at 6.30pm.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VJ day and the ending of the second world war, on Friday 15th August, the nation’s bells will be rung. The bells of St Peter’s church will be rung and the bells of St Mary’s church will be chimed at 6.30pm.
